Annie McGeorge

STRENGTHS: Achiever, Competition, Belief, Significance, Adaptability Determined and energetic – few people max out the 24 hours of a given day like Annie McGeorge. Proud wife to her best friend Cooper (who she’s known since age nine), Annie values family time over most things, and cherishes every moment she carves out in her day to spend with her three young children. Annie’s innate hustle stems from being raised in a household with a football coach father and three older brothers; a family deeply ingrained with commitment, hard work, and fortitude. She loves 90s rap and knows every word to “Juicy” – one of the rap songs that gives a shout out to accountants. When she isn’t blasting music and embarrassing her kids, she’s cheering on her favorite Arizona teams: the Cards, Dbacks and Suns. After six years of being a third-party accounting officer and right-hand to North&Co.’s leadership by way of McGeorge CPAs, Annie joined forces in-house with North&Co. in January of 2021 and was named CFO & COO. She has always admired the company’s mission of setting the industry bar at the highest level to best protect the consumers we serve. Paired with her passion to continually educate and empower agents to think and act like a business owner, Annie is an unstoppable force when it comes to her contributions to elevating North&Co. In her current role she oversees the accounting and operations teams; responsible for leading investing, taxes, financial management, data analytics, and forecasting. She creates strategic alliances across departments and commands a peak state on which the overall machine of North&Co. is run. Aside from her beautiful family, Annie’s proudest achievement is partnering with her husband at McGeorge CPAs in 2013 and growing it into a business serving over 700 clients. As McGeorge CPAs Chief Accounting Officer for eight years, Annie led strategy and delivered high quality financial analysis for companies in multiple industries, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 5. Prior to McGeorge CPAs, Annie held positions as Financial Advisor at CVS Health and was a Tax Supervisor (Senior and Associate) at BeachFleischman PC for four years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona, followed by her CPA degree. Annie’s fiscal prowess and communication skills were scouted early on, and she was recruited to teach the Becker CPA prep course which she did for four years. Annie values the grit, determination and accountability in those she surrounds herself with, and is motivated to help each North&Co. agent and employee reach their highest operating potential. She is driven to maximize profits and improve overall results (ideally with a jersey on and a beer in hand).
